Wallis is a 20yo (2001) QH gelding that came in with August and Kodah after being reported to local law enforcement for obvious malnourishment. We were able to assist local law enforcement and the owner surrendered all 3 horses into the Rescue’s care. Wallis is a gentle giant and has done well at DCER. He has been in the training program and is very gentle and broke. Trainers are working with his head shyness which is due to his past. But he will make a good trail horse for a novice rider or as a kid’s horse.
