Every horse requires the adoptee to schedule an appointment to come ride the horse at least 2 times to ensure the horse and rider are a match. Every horse also requires an adoption application. Please allow 7 business days for us to complete the application process.

Starla is a lovely 12yo (2010) grey mare, who came to the Rescue from an owner surrender in July of 2020. Starla is a strong stout mare, and has healed her bowed tender considerably while at DCER. She now roams with the herd and enjoys it. She won’t be rideable but will make an excellent companion for a person, family, or horse. She is very gentle and loves getting the much needed attention she deserves. Come meet Starla if you are interested in a companion horse.
